i can't remember....

.....is it fashion follows decor or decor follows fashion? Hard for me to remember b/c the top I was wearing was from our anniversary and the picture is from the set of Mad Men (which takes place in the 1960's) Notice the chairs. My top ---5 years (at least) old and chairs in Mad Men 50 years old. Hmmmmmm.........

We've been through the 7 year itch twice---14 years---whewwwww.......Happy Anniversary to my best friend. (girlfriends---don't be p.o.'ed) Some years have been itchier than others but I love you all the way to the moon as I do our two offspring. Life is good. God is great. Here's to 14 more......

School Daze

Some might say how sad to see summer go. We did, but quickly my boys seemed to develop instant "crushes" on their Pre-1st and 3rd Grade teachers. It's going to be a good year. I'm proud of them. Another year of new beginnings for Mom, Dad, Brock and Mac. Yes, every 1st day of school and Christmas Eve I shed tears.....

mainly because I have to get up a little extra early to prepare Happy 1st Day of School Breakfasts.

The Thrasher Summer. It was magical. It went too fast. We were surrounded by dear friends and family. We were spoiled. I could go on about beach breezes, glassy lakes, rolling meadows and pastures, crickets chirping.....God is good.
